(If you have the access, deal with Sk圜lub agents. My original flight was experiencing only a 45min delay. In terms of service I recently had an agent at the Sk圜lub in Salt Lake go out of their way to get me upgraded and change my flight even when I wasn't at the GM level. I should point out, 1) I don't live in a Delta hub and 2) I travel alot with Delta Gold/Plat members. I'm SM and will probably hit GM by next June, but as a silver I have found the service to be pretty good. After sifting through this thread I thought I would chime in.
